About this role
A great opportunity for anyone interested in expanding their events knowledge and build experience for their future employability. You will get hands-on experience of running events from start to finish with our one-off and regular events.
As well as keep the current events like cat yoga, cat mindfulness, Movie nights, Art and Kitten Classes, you are free to come up with your own events which you will be responsible for. These events will also aim to raise awareness of animal welfare and fit our mission of kindness.
You will be responsible for the marketing and promotion of the events, this will include branding, posters, online marketing, press releases, sponsorship and newsletters. The job is a great opportunity to network with the local press and local community.
Pause Cat Café is a pawsome place to work, the best place ever! I have gained so much experience in all fields of events. The best feeling is when your event comes to life, from the little idea on a piece of paper to happy attendees telling you they want to come back again and again. You are free to come up with your own ideas and solutions, it’s a great way to challenge yourself. The more you give the more you will get back, along with a lot of cat cuddles. – Michelle
