As you may have heard, on Friday 20th July Pause Cat Cafe held our Insert Coin Event in aid of the Valley of Hope Children’s Foundation. This was an event especially for our staff and their friends and families!
Valley of Hope is a meowvellous charity that is set on levelling the playing field for underprivileged children around the world, by giving them the tools they need to succeed.
The money that was raised on Friday will be going towards school fees for orphaned and abandoned children in Kenya.
In total we raised over £500!
The night wouldn’t have been such a success without the generous donations we received to our raffle from some of the local businesses in Bournemouth.
We would especially like to thank All Fired Up Ceramics Cafe and Picnic Box.
All Fired Up is a Paint-Your-Own Pottery Cafe in Bournemouth with a large range of ceramics to choose from! They were kind enough to donate a ceramic cat as one of the prizes in our charity raffle. The winner can then take the ceramic kitty to All Fired Up and paint it in any way they please! You can find All Fired Up at: 35-37 Bourne Ave, Bournemouth BH2 6DT!
Picnic Box is an artisan coffee house in Lansdowne, Bournemouth, who share our passion for providing quality products with locally sourced ingredients! They donated a £10 voucher for their cafe, which the winner could use to get some delicious food and drink! If you want to pay them a visit, you can find them at: 13 Lansdowne Road, Bournemouth, BH1 1RZ!
Concatulations to our lucky prize winners!
A meowsive thank you to our staff, and their friends and families, for being so generous on the night, as well as everyone who helped to set up and pack up at the end of the night! We couldn’t have done it without every single one of you!
